Halve Maen

Halve Maen is a three year long public-private partnership to create a soft-landing for Dutch startups and scale-ups in the IT and Creative Industries sectors. Established as a joint venture between the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York and a cluster of Dutch startups and scale-ups, the Halve Maen is a so-called Partnership in International Business (PIB), a program organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. The Halve Maen initiative supports Dutch startups and scale-ups in making the move to the US, via New York. This will enable companies to secure their local footing and get to scale faster, easier and in a more cost-efficient way. The Halve Maen creates relevant content and organizes meetups and programs to promote and position the Dutch in the NYC startup ecosystem. With this, the initiative thus serves as a platform for collaboration between Dutch and NYC-based partners.
