Hamer Toyota

Hamer Motors was founded by Leland Hamer in April 1939 as a gas station, repair facility and car sales lot. Mr. Hamer sold and serviced many different makes over the years including Renault, Volvo, MG, Sprite and Hudson, among others. In 1965 he was approched by Toyota Motor Sales to become the first exclusive Toyota Dealer in the United States, meaning that he would have to drop all other makes that he was selling. Mr Hamer took a chance on the new company and has been a successful Toyota Dealer ever since. Today Hamer Toyota has grown to include facilities on both the east and west sides of Sepulveda Boulevard at San Fernando Mission Boulevard. We are the largest Toyota Dealer in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Simi Valleys based on new and certified Toyota and Scion sales combined. In 2011, Hamer Toyota was purchased by the Ken Garff Automotive Group out of Salt Lake City, Utah. With the additional tools and support provided by Ken Garff, Hamer Toyota has grown to be the 10th largest Toyota dealer in the nation.
