The Hammond Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) economic development organization that focuses on new business development. Since our establishment in 1981, we’ve assisted the City of Hammond in developing a flourishing, prosperous community that business owners and residents can take pride in. Our mission is to continue to foster the economic development of Hammond. We do this through the revitalization of Hammond, building technology-based businesses, developing and promoting the visual and performing arts and developing minority, women, and Hammond-based businesses.
