HAMRTECH specializes in developing and implementing analytic solutions for big data problems: HADOOP 2.0 ECOSYSTEM • Contributors to Hadoop ecosystem-related project: HAMR analytic engine • Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and ecosystem component deployment and management experience, including application development for MapReduce • Design and implementation of a big data reservoir in Hbase • NoSQL experience DEVELOPMENT & SYSTEM SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS • Experience integrating a relational database and NoSQL store • Large-scale, distributed, high-volume systems with Java and C++ • Knowledge of Java virtual machines (JVM) and multithreaded processing • Experience with scripting languages and Extensible Markup Language (XML) • Strong understanding of multi-threading, scaling, concurrency, caching, queuing, RPC, and distributed data storage • Open source experience • Code reviews to assure that developed and tested code conforms to the design and architecture principles • Control & monitoring of large supercomputers • Posix-compliant and well-versed in UNIX environment • Significant experience automated testing and debugging • Strong academic track record in competitive analysis and benchmarking ADMINISTRATION • Development operations and system administration experience; conversant in UNIX networking and C system calls • Hadoop administration and strong and diverse background of distributed cluster management experience • Strong network background with a good understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls and DNS • Expertise in typical system administration and programming skills such as storage capacity management, performance tuning, system dump analysis, server hardening (security); optimum storage allocation for the data stores in the architecture • Big data engineering expertise using machine learning, data mining, predictive analytics and/or natural language processing (NLP)
