Handiques” – the Helping “Hands” of student entrepreneurs India, as the world’s largest democracy, attracts a lot of world’s attention nowadays. The goal of education should be to create a generation of socially responsible citizens. This vision has been brought into reality by the students of Amrita School of Business, Amritapuri Campus under the guidance of the Amrita Technology Business Incubation. Nine MBA students of Amrita School of Business, Amritapuri inspired by the Divine Mother Mata Amritanandamayi Devi have put together a business idea with the primary objective being social service. The idea involves creating a web portal which enables the online sale of Handicraft products made by unrecognized craftsmen and tribes in and around Kerala.
