In 2022, Shelly Handman formed a partnership with James Berry, who served as Design Director since 2017 and the company name changed from Handman Associates to Handman Berry Interior Design. This close alliance has strengthened the firm’s foundation, sustained our standards of quality and luxury, and enhanced the ways we serve our clients. Though our work has been featured in numerous publications throughout the country, our greatest compliment is when generations of families return for a refresh – not a redo – to accommodate their changing lifestyle. With offices based in Chicago and Palm Springs, we acknowledge each home’s unique sense of place through interiors inspired by the setting and aligned with the architecture.
