Hands-On Lesco

Hands-On LESCO is a company which educates people to become aware of the need for deaf people to function equitably in society. Through courses, workshops and trainings, we teach hearing children and adults to relate to the deaf community and understand their aspirations and needs. By learning sign language and other communication strategies used by deaf people, we guarantee that each student collaborates by opening spaces of inclusion from their possibilities. Our program gives a real approach to the deaf community, where in addition to the acquisition of the Language, activities are carried out to share experiences and ideas between deaf and hearing people. Finally, Hands-On LESCO is flexible and attractive, displaying Sign Language as something fun and cool to learn, inviting all people to get involved, even if they do not have any deaf people in their families or workplaces
