We gather outfit ideas from bloggers and brands, and based on what the users have in their closet or what they are trying on, we suggest 5 to 10 ways to make their outfits work. This way users can look good every day without the frustration of "having nothing to wear" or the hassle to refresh their style. Hangr also gives out user-specific rewards to make sure they can always enjoy new good looks within a budget. When users engage in the app by collecting outfits, following fashionistas, telling us their fashion likes and dislikes, or even trying on clothing, then they gain points on Hangr. Hangr discovers and sends the fashion preferences of our users to our retail partners. With this information, they can send particular types of rewards to certain users to bring up their sales effectively. Through the analytics, Hangr can suggest more welcoming outfit ideas to the users, and thus users can pick an outfit at anytime with even less effort. Hangr is merely the first step to change the way we interact with our world even though it is tackling a $128B industry. In the coming ten years, we want to apply a similar model as Hangr to nine other lifestyle industries. We want people to get information for their decisions based on their preferences and experience instead of getting overwhelmed with irrelevant information from numerous sources on a daily basis. From knowing our users better, we can always keep them engaged in life, or we call it "live in the moments," by continuously offering them relevant rewards and information. With our patented process for understanding the preferences of a user, this 10-year vision will become a reality.
