Hapam was founded in 1925 and is an independent manufacturer of High Voltage Disconnectors and Earthing Switches for outdoor and indoor substations (voltage range up to 800kV). So far Hapam has supplied more than disconnectors in over 125 countries worldwide. Hapam is part of the Van Halteren Group and operates from modern and well equipped premises with factories in Netherlands (HQ), Poland and Vietnam. Hapam maintains a policy of continuously improving the disconnector design, including more recent demands resulting from renewable grid developments for connecting on- and offshore windfarms (for AC & DC). This makes Hapam one of the leading disconnector manufacturers in the world.
