Here we were in 2013, a small team of energetic creative thinkers coming from design and business backgrounds. What did we want? We wanted enthusiasm, youth, fun and modernity infused into the Lebanese design sector. Then came the long working hours of brainstorming, discussing, drinking – just coffee! – and heading towards this goal that we had set and didn’t want to let go of. Because we believed in it. In making a difference. Happenings was thus born with the aim of making people feel at ease in any given retail and hospitality space. Because design doesn’t come to life without what we consider as its keystone: the human component. But how to go beyond fabrics, colors and furniture in order to entice all five senses through each and every detail?
