We chose to use bamboo in our products. Because it’s the planet’s fastest growing crop. You know that trees are good for the environment, bamboo is even better. Bamboo absorbs five times more carbon than other trees and because it stores carbon in the plant and roots it is able to regenerate soil health. It’s simply one of the best crops you can use if you want to protect the planet. Bamboo is a lower impact crop than cotton or hardwood trees because it needs little to no irrigation or pesticides and it releases 35% more oxygen. It grows rapidly so it needs less land and it can be harvested without damaging root systems and surrounding habitats.
