Harbin No.3 High School

Harbin No.3 High School (Chinese:) is the most prestigious high school in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province as well as one of the top high schools in China. It has two campuses, one located in the center of Harbin, Nangang District, and the other in Qunli District. The teaching building of Nangang campus is located in a culturally protected site previously designed by a Russian architect in 1921. Among all the junior high school graduates from Harbin and surrounding cities, only the top 1% have the opportunity to admission. Currently, the school has 92 classes (3 levels in total) and about 3,500 students. With the best student academic performance across Heilongjiang Province, the school’s admission rate to top universities is approximately 95%. And every year, about 10% graduates enter Peking University and Tsinghua University and approximately tens enter Ivy League universities in the US, including Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia and Brown and top universities in the UK, Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore, making the school in a firm leading position of the province.
