Harbor Road Ventures, LLC, is an Angel Investment fund run by the Oracle from deep inside the Matrix to fund the start ups that fit neither Neo nor The Architect’s world, but rather a melding of both. We invest in Seed to Series A, often the first money into a new company. To date our portfolio has focused on social, mobile and digital advertising, including AddThis (acquired by Oracle), Integral Ad Science IAS (acquired by Vista Equity Partners), Dstillery, AirBnB (Nasdaq IPO), Kanvas (acquired by AOL), MapAnything (acquired by Salesforce.com), PINCHme (IPO on ASX), Spire.com (NYSE IPO), IonQ (NYSE IPO), Headliner.app, Nifty Metaverse, FiscalNote (NYSE IPO). Going forward we are searching for start ups that fall into the intersection of machine language and human brains: i.e, the intersection of digital and biological information systems. We look for Entrepreneurs who are passionate, single minded, yet also flexible thinkers - Confident yet Humble. We consider both prototype ready projects, and ideas that seem totally weird. We add value via introductions to co-investors and founders in our network. But we remain hands off - we don't meddle.
