Harkness Institute is a unique bilingual and bicultural high school in Mexico that employs discussion-based instruction, rather than the traditional method of teacher lecture. This allows students to develop strong critical thinking skills, become more confident and more effective communicators, and it also strengthens their socio-emotional skills. This will enable our students to grow into strong leaders. Our mission is to offer educational opportunities to the future leaders of Mexico and the world, who have a commitment to their country and community, helping them reach their potential to think and act creatively and critically and generate positive change. Fully accredited by the Mexican Ministry of Education, Harkness Institute rigorously prepares students for university degree programs at the international level. This learning system combines the use of highly effective educational techniques. It gives students an in-depth immersion into subject material.
