Harmony Residential Homes Ltd is a children's care home provider. Harmony has been established to; support, nurture and guide children and young people aged 11-18. The service will assist the children to mature into confident, independent and healthy young adults through residential care, on site educational support, emergency intervention and therapy services. Harmony is capable of making provisions for young people with a background including; neglect and abuse with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Through a rigorous matching process it is ensured that the environment provided is best suited to support the needs of each particular young person. Harmony's culture ensures the young people are provided with a feeling of homeliness rather than a feeling of being institutionalised. This culture also reinforces the young people's self-esteem, feeling of belonging and aspirations. Harmony aims to provide a child-centered and individualised approach to the care provided to the young people, helping them achieve their individual target outcomes. This approach includes the ongoing support of young people with their present underlying difficulties whilst placing an importance on their long term goals, serving to plan for their future.
