Hart Glass
Hart Glass is owned and run by UK studio glass artist, Laura Hart. The company ethos is simple; the creation of exclusive and limited edition contemporary glass artworks. Laura’s unique Art Nouveau inspired glass orchid collections unite sculptural glass with lighting and architectural interior design, whilst her Art Deco influenced tableware, functional glass art and panels are vibrant and modern; bespoke to the collector’s colour palette. Thriving on challenging design commissions, Laura’s 3D software expertise affords her clients a realistic preview of the glass work prior to making, enabling true interaction and involvement from concept to creation. Laura aims to add at least one new orchid species per year to her distinctive anthologies, with poppies, lilies and spring flowers scattered amongst the exotics. Laura's Lepidoptera collections are meticulously detailed sculptures of butterfly and moth specimens; created from a combination of fused and pate de verre cast glass with sterling silver legs, antennae and proboscis. Her Kaiser I Hind butterfly won her gold in the Craft & Design magazine's 2016 Selected Makers, glass category.
