That shift changes the central question from "what can AI produce?" to "what should any system be allowed to do before it does it?" Hartstone Institute exists to answer that question. We design the control, authority, and trust layers for an autonomous world — the infrastructure that verifies and authorizes machine-initiated action before execution, not after the damage is done. Our flagship architecture, Runtime Authority Control (RAC), establishes a runtime layer that authorizes what AI and automated systems are permitted to do across enterprise environments — turning ungoverned autonomy into accountable action. Beyond any single venture, the Institute is a long-horizon platform for category creation. We work where the map runs out: emerging control problems, system-trust gaps, identity and authorization frameworks, and the human-facing infrastructure required as decision-making shifts from people to machines.
