Harvey House Publishing was founded in the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2008 to provide books for children that celebrate the Catholic faith, the gift of life, modesty, and a wholesome childhood. Since then, Harvey House Publishing has been the recipient of publishing awards, most notably from the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada as well as the Catholic Writers Guild. Its titles, Olivia and the Little Way and its sequel, Olivia’s Gift, are being used in Catholic-school curricula and have been internationally and nationally praised for their fun yet wholesome approach to the trials and tribulations of Christian pre-teen life. HHP's newest novel for pre-teens, The Gate, radiates the dignity of the Catholic priesthood and the discovery of God’s calling for each of us. Harvey House Publishing's books are distributed by Ignatius Press.
