Harwill Express Press is a family-run printing business which was established in 1973 when Bill and Harriett Portrude opened a Sir Speedy Quick Print Center. Two years later they bought out their contract with Sir Speedy and changed the company name to Express Press. In 1992, the name Harwill was added and the trade name "Harwill Express Press" was established. In 1990, after completing his degree in Print Technology and Color Management from Rochester Institute of Technology and four years working for different types of printing companies, Harriett and William’s son, Steve Portrude, returned to the family business and brought with him a wealth of experience and industry knowledge.
