Hashim Sarkis Studio, is a Boston, Massachusetts and Beirut, Lebanon based architectural practice. Established in 1998, the firm works on a broad spectrum of project types, ranging from master planning, urban design, landscape design, institutional, residential and furniture design. Project Locations: Canada, China, Lebanon, Turkey, United States, UAE. Design Emphasis: Integration of architecture with urban and landscape settings. Awards: Ranging from competitions, to professional societies, exhibitions, and journals including Progressive Architecture and BSA Design Award. Publications: Various books, journals, and newspapers including The Phaidon 21st Century Atlas of Contemporary Architecture, Metropolis Magazine, Architectural Record, The Architect, Architectural Design, The Boston Globe, and the Economist. Exhibitions: Several international venues including the Biennales of Venice, Rotterdam, and Hong Kong/Shenzhen, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Boston Society of Architects.
