Haskell Free Library & Opera House The Haskell Free Library serves the surrounding communities in both English and French on both sides of the Canada-US border. Every year, an eclectic mix of avid readers, audiences, performers, and tourists grace this heritage site with their presence and curiosity. The Haskell Opera House is a remarkable 400-seat theatre located literally on the United States-Canada border. Our stage is in Quebec and most of the seats are in Vermont. Near-perfect sight lines and ambiophonic sound await you. We look forward to welcoming you as a performer or as an audience member here at the Haskell Opera House.
