Two friends - one idea Georg and Herbert set up the houseboat project together. The idea was to use as few resources as possible and to do it in a sustainable way. After 9 months of deliberation, handicrafts and some diving sessions, the two of them, together with other helpers, have made it. Sustainability, networking and innovation is our focus! The H. Looschelders Sozial und Ökologiestiftung is turning the houseboat into a network office that wants to give back the sense of community to the citizens of Kleve and the students of the HSRW. Together everything is much easier and without this community the houseboat would not exist today. We are not profit-oriented, which means we don't want to earn money, but we want to get citizens and students on board and achieve something new together.
