As a curated marketplace, we will keep the number of stores on the marketplace reduced to prevent overcrowding, competition sellers and to help build a community of small business owners who can lift each other up. Stores will not compete with each other in product types but will be encouraged to compliment each other and be a community where cross selling and upselling is something that is shared and celebrated. That way, we all grow together. Studies show that building a business can be isolating, challenging and simply hard work. Wrapping a community of people on similar journeys can only help to remove the isolation and to provide a safe place to discuss the day, share knowledge and learn from our fellow sellers across the marketplace. With shared experiences and people working at various levels of their seller journey, there is always knowledge to be acquired, friendships to be created and sales to be had. Hawk and Peddle work only with UK vendors at this time. We do not charge a membership fee, listing quantity restrictions or a joining fee. We simply take 9% commission on all sales. Being a small business ourselves, we're learning and growing all of the time and our profits go back into the business to enrich functionality and provide a better service for our sellers.
