Hay Day Ranch, located in Goochland County, Virginia offers equine therapy in a safe, peaceful healing environment for children and youth facing conflicts and challenges. Our programs pair individuals with rescued horses to help each other learn to build the bonds of love as they learn to trust again. Hay Day Ranch is built on the faith, hope and dream of Susan Hingst Clark, a Virginia based teacher, horse enthusiast and child advocate. The Ranch is realization of Susan's vision to combine rescue horses in equine therapy with youth therapy to restore emotional ties and trust in both the horses and youth. Hay Day Ranch, located in the gently rolling hills of Goochland County, just west of Richmond, Virginia is home to rescued horses. Our horses have a new purpose; helping build trust and love in the hearts and souls of youth.
