The Hazleton Integration Project (HIP) is a community-based effort that seeks to unite the people of many different cultures who call Hazleton home. HIP was founded on the core idea that acceptance and diversity can and should be taught to both current and future generations. The project is the brainchild of three-time MLB Manager of the Year and Hazleton native Joe Maddon.
