Hbs Hospital

HBS hospital, a unit of Shama Charitable Trust is a registered not-for-profit organization that provides medical services to the much needed communities in and around the vicinity of Shivajinagar, located in central Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka in South India. The 100-bed multispecialty hospital certified by NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health care Providers) is operational since in April 2012 and is among the few charitable hospitals in Karnataka to have obtained the NABH certification for Quality. HBS Hospital currently provides Outpatient, day care and Inpatient services. It runs one of the largest Dialysis Centers in the city catering to 240 patients coming from diverse backgrounds, on a daily basis. Currently, the hospitals Dialysis Center is running an awareness campaign,"KIND FRIENDS FOR KIDNEYS", in collaboration with the United Foundation NGO, designed to create awareness and empathy amongst the youth towards the debilitating condition, and the impact it has on the patients and their families.
