Hbv Shipping

The HBV Shipping Society is an organization connected to Buskerud and Vestfold University College (HBV). The society was founded on November 1st 2013 by devoted students studying at the Shipping and Logistics study program at HBV. The society has an ambition to work as a link between HBV and the maritime industry. The HBV Shipping Society is a sub-organization of Vestfold Studentsamfunn (Vestfold Student Society), and wants to help create a good environment between the students and to help students come in contact with the maritime industry. The society takes initiative to arrange different events like career days, theme nights, visits to maritime companies and other social get-togethers for the members of the society. As part of these events we will invite representatives of relevant companies in the maritime industry as guest speakers and to arrange presentations of relevant future employers. We will focus on the maritime industry, both domestic and international, and our long-term goal is to be an important part of the HBV organization.
