Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - Technology Business Incubation Center (HCMUT-TBI) was founded in 2010 as a science-technology organization directly under Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. HCMUT-TBI would have an important impact on Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh city and southern part of Vietnam. HCMUT-TBI is leading the effort to create a business incubator to both foster entrepreneurship on the campus and in the community, and enhance learning and job opportunities for students. At the same time, the incubator would advance the local economy by providing resources and a place to start technology businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and southern part of Vietnam. It would help to create new businesses and good paying jobs in the community. Incubator is the provision of business assistance that comes in the form of management guidance, technical assistance, and consulting tailored to young, growing companies. Incubators may also involve facilities and facility-based services that provide clients with appropriate rental space and flexible leases, shared business services and equipment, technology support services, and assistance in obtaining financing necessary for company growth.
