The Hypertension and Diabetes Prevention and Treatment (HDPT) Center is a state-of-the-art medical facility borne out of a vision and promise. HDPT Center focuses on the prevention and treatment of hypertension and diabetes, as the name suggests, facilitated through easy-to-understand health literacy and intentional patient care. HDPT Center is an IRS tax-exempt charitable organization pursuant to IRS section 501(c)(3). Dr. Evelyn R. Coe, Family Nurse Practitioner serves as Chief Executive Officer. The Center serves the Pee Dee Region, which includes Darlington and Florence counties. Coe also serves as the lead clinician, and responsible for overseeing the practice and providing patients with gold standards of care. Coe's research has been published in the Journal of Vascular Nursing. Dr. Coe is a three-time graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina School of Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing alumnus.
