Head Coach Training Center

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, Head Coach Training Center® is the premier annual event for current and aspiring college basketball head coaches, focusing exclusively on off-the-court professional development and networking. HCTC provides coaches with invaluable strategies for pursuing and excelling in highly coveted Head Coach positions. Current head coaches share their unique career paths and approaches, while collegiate ADs, athletic administrators, search firm executives, industry leaders, and leadership experts offer their perspectives on thriving during the search process and succeeding as a Head Coach. Since 2016, over 180 attendees have obtained a first-time or new collegiate Head Coach position, including 60+ at the Division I level! During HCTC, the ACTC Track features breakout sessions where assistant coaches learn proven strategies to improve and flourish in their current and future roles, and network with current and future head coaches. HCTC also features a professional development experience for athletic administrators and Division I head coaches, including an exclusive workshop and collaborative discussion and information share session on current and emerging trends in women’s basketball.
