Headwaters Wilderness Program

Headwaters provides thoughtful outdoor education experiences in all seasons throughout Ontario. From canoe trips to winter camping, our programs are research-backed and designed to bring together academic and nature-based methods of teaching and learning. Working with elementary, high school, and university aged students, we push the boundaries of what education can – and should – look like. If we want empower students to create the world they want to live in, they need to get out into that world – experience it fully, through the head, the hands, and the heart – and develop authentic relationships with place, each other, and, ultimately, themselves.
