Healing Vertigo

At Healing Vertigo, we are passionate about helping people with vestibular and concussion disorders. Our goal is to bridge the gap between patients, specialists and recovery through telehealth, education, and our mobile app. We provide telehealth services for patients in Ontario, Canada suffering from vestibular and concussion symptoms. All services are fulfilled by our highly experienced and educated therapist, Cheryl Wylie, who is enthusiastic about helping people improve their health and wellbeing. Cheryl has been treating people with dizziness for 10+ years and has adapted into the virtual world to increase access for everyone and reduce barriers to specialized treatment. At Healing Vertigo, we are also lifelong learners and enjoy encouraging others to expand their knowledge as well. As a result, we have created approachable vestibular and concussion courses that can be accessed through online lectures or live virtual training seminars. Topics include Understanding BPPV, Beyond BPPV: Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion Management, and TMJ Rehabilitation. Finally, Healing Vertigo is not just a physiotherapy clinic, we are also App developers! Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is a condition that causes short episodes of vertigo, dizziness and/or imbalance and can be very debilitating. The Healing Vertigo Interactive App walks patients and practitioners through the testing process of BPPV, using patient-friendly guided videos, clear instructions and asks key questions to determine the variety of BPPV the patient has. From there, the App will recommend which treatment maneuver is most appropriate for the patient, again guiding the patient through videos and helpful instructions, all through the patient's mobile device. The Healing Vertigo App is here to expand access to this specialized treatment and can reduce costs to both the patient and our healthcare system.
