Health Minder was created to fill a gap that exists in the way schools disseminate critical health and safety information about students to teachers and staff. The majority of schools still use paper to convey this information when students are taken on excursions, camps etc. Paper files are time consuming to create and they can be easily lost resulting in privacy issues, And if the group splits in to smaller groups, the result may be that some teachers no longer have access to the information. Health Minder provides schools with the means to allow all of their teachers and staff to have up to date student emergency contact and health information at their fingertips at all times. A powerful, secure database is linked to a smart phone app. This app is accessed by unique logins that are controlled by authorised school administration staff and it is accessible even if there is no mobile phone network or Wi-Fi coverage.
