Health Robotics

Founded in 2006, Health Robotics (HR) was the undisputed global leading supplier of automation system for the preparation of life-critical IntraVenous medications. Its unique solutions had greatly contributed to ease hospitals' growing pressures to simultaneously improve patient safety and reduce costs. Through the effective and efficient production of sterile, accurate, tamper-evident and ready-to-administer IVs, Health Robotics helped pharmacies eliminate life-threatening drug and diluent errors, decrease other medical mistakes and sterility risks, work more efficiently, reduce waste and controlled substances’ diversion, and diminish the gap between rising patient volume/acuity and scarce clinical staff. In 2014 the whole HR company, with HQ in Bolzano, manufacturing site, and R&D Lab in Trieste were acquired by the automated pharmacy firm Aesynt. The R&D Lab was relocated from the Area Science Park in 2011, and in 2015 Aesynt was then acquired by OmniCell.
