Healthsmart Pharmacy

In 2008, HealthSmart Pharmacy® was formed with the introduction of HealthSmart Pharmacy® Melbourne at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the re-branding of the existing Alfred Hospital site to become HealthSmart Pharmacy® Alfred. HealthSmart Pharmacy’s vision was to be the premier provider of Community Pharmacy services in public hospitals in Melbourne. In November 2013, HealthSmart Pharmacy® Victoria Parade began trading in the St Vincent’s hospital precinct. In June 2016, HealthSmart Pharmacy® opened in the new Peter McCallum Cancer Centre in a state of the art Cancer research and treatment facility. In July 2017, HealthSmart Pharmacy® Box Hill began trading at the recently rebuilt Box Hill Hospital. Our pharmacies embrace the opportunities of new technologies. We have installed robotic dispensing: precision German built storage and dispensing units that improve efficiencies and accuracy, whilst providing maximum time interaction with our pharmacists. Our newest pharmacies have installed consulting rooms, enabling vaccinations to take place. Our site, is one of just 20 Supercare pharmacies statewide, endorsed by the Victorian Government, to provide 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, pharmacy services.
