Healthwise Organization

Healthwise is a Non-Governmental Organization whose main goal is to end extreme poverty. The organization envisions Malawi being a country where children, girls, young women, and all people are free from poverty, fear, and oppression; and everyone has access to opportunities needed to live a long, healthy, and creative life. HW key areas include: Health, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, HIV & and AIDS Prevention, quality education, youth and community empowerment, water sanitation, and hygiene and nutrition for all interventions. Healthwise programming involves mobilizing and reaching out to citizens and other stakeholders using various approaches such as social behavior change communication (SBCC) and persuasive communication aimed to increase demand and access to social services.
