We can do it. We are a husband & wife team. His Japanese heritage goes back to the Samurai line. He has built a career in product research and development, traveling extensively in Europe and Asia. He has always enjoyed the fine arts and frequently visits the world's best art galleries, libraries, and museums. She is his Italian-born assistant in business and former homeschool mom to their 3 boys. Her heritage goes back to Florence, Italy where her passion for all things Mediterranean began.(She’s crazy about lemons, olives, and color.) Let Cindy tell you how Heart Tech Designs was born: It was December 1, 2020. Our youngest son and his wife were decorating the Christmas tree. For years I had purchased an ornament to commemorate the year's big event. Guess what happened. The only ornaments Nathan and Georgia were interested in were the ones with a picture and a 15-second recording of their voices. I wanted to find an updated version of these recordable ornaments, but I could not find any. Meanwhile, I had been noticing that QR codes were popping up everywhere. Thus was born the QR-code Christmas ornament. Next came the QR-enabled coffee cup and the development of QaRt (QR art) and a different devotion every day. Then came the teddy bear with the big heart, wall hangings, and journals. Together, we brainstormed, refined, pivoted, and birthed these ideas. Friends and family love these ideas and have encouraged me to present it to a wider audience. What started as a solution to update old talking Christmas ornaments has become a creative art that brings loved ones together in new ways. All of QaRt for the heart designs are inspired by the everyday needs of others. Always endeavoring to reflect God's heart for His children with a little help from technology.
