Heartsync Nz

Heartsync offers professional development for teachers, facilitates courses for parents and offers events on topics related to child and adolescent development. It focusses in particular on young people presenting with complex behavioural and learning needs. Conventional education and parent literature focusses on "training" a child to learn and behave. Heartsync is interested in gaining insight into the complex issues underlying the behaviour in order to better support the needs of young people struggling at home and in school. Heartsync theory and practice is informed by the attachment based developmental model of Psychologist Gordon Neufeld.
