Delta blues meets garage rock in Heatwave & Landman, the new blues rock duo of Chris "Heatwave" Holm & Mark "Landman" Larson. With a sound that would be right at home in 1967 but sounds equally fresh today, Heatwave & Landman deliver infectious hooks, gritty riffs, and pounding rhythms supplemented by soaring multi-layered harmonies. Themes of disaffection, wanderlust, and nostalgia dominate the lyrics from men truly born in the wrong place and time. Staples of the Minneapolis music scene since first joining forces 10 years ago, Holm & Larson have been building towards this moment to emerge from the shadows and into the spotlight and the forefront of the rock & roll scene. Heatwave & Landman's debut album,"Introducing. Heatwave & Landman" was released on January 20, 2017 with a release show at Hook & Ladder Theater and Lounge in Minneapolis.
