HeidelbergCement is one of the world's largest manufacturers of building materials. HeidelbergCement has been active in Georgia since 2006 and is a market leader in the country’s cement industry. The company runs three cement plants in Kaspi (1) and Rustavi (2), as well as a cement grinding mill in Poti and a cement terminal in Supsa, and is Georgia’s sole clinker manufacturer. The cement business is supported by a strong network of 15 ready-mixed concrete plants. Sand and aggregates for the concrete is partly supplied by two own aggregate pits. HeidelbergCement Georgia supplies cement and concrete to nearly every significant construction project in Georgia. The two major focuses of the company’s activity are modern technology and sustainability.
