Helene Foundation

The Helene Foundation provides immediate support for mothers fighting cancer to positively impact families. We fund immediate, practical services such as meal delivery, house cleaning, childcare, assistance with transportation to medical appointments and treatments and children’s activities. Every family and situation is unique and their services are based on the mother’s requests. The Helene Foundation strives to help families keep as normal as environment as possible while engaged in their cancer fight. Since 2009, the Helene Foundation has assisted over 260 North Carolina families and 500 children! Cancer is an ugly disease that can strike any person at any time. There are organizations that are dedicated to finding a cure, and great strides have been made in that direction. Scientists and researchers are working hard to find a cure.
