When Jen moved from Orlando to Chicago for journalism school, she learned how vital color was for her personally. Remembering Florida’s sunshine yellow and warm tones of spring and summertime that got her through the darkest and coldest windy city winters. It was her neon pink coat that brightened her morning every time she reached for it. For Jen, color became a bright spot in her day-to-day life. It wasn't until Jen married her husband and he entered the military that she began to consider a career in brand strategy and identity design. As they moved from one place to the next, her outlook on simplicity and minimalism took shape as she only held onto her most impactful and meaningful possessions. As Jen grew her design business in 2019, she discovered the intimate and curious process of brand identity design. The former journalist in her thrived as she dove into her clients' brands to understand their values, purpose, and vision while playing with distinct color combinations and typography. As Jen’s business grew, so did her family, and she began to develop an approach to spaciousness in her business and life that allowed her to be present with her son while still serving her clients at the highest level. She knew she wanted her business to support her lifestyle, not the other way around. As Jen continued to play with bold colors, sophisticated aesthetics, and her minimalistic approach to design, she started attracting clients who equally valued her colorful, timeless design aesthetic. Since Jen started Hello June Creative, it's established roots back in Florida and evolved into a boutique brand and design studio that partners with creative visionaries to develop colorful and elevated brands that help them stand out, communicate their purpose and attract a high caliber of customers.
