The HelmCyber product provides continuous monitoring of network traffic giving you visibility to the certificates and encryption being used in your cloud environment. This solution gives you the ability to passively monitor for certificate expiration, improper provisioning, weak cipher suites used in older certificates, and most critically, stolen certificates and unmanaged/self-signed rogue certificates. Other products attempt to use scanning and agents to provide this network visibility. But, scanning misses non-standard ports and protocols. It may use different connection parameters than an API or end user, resulting in an ineffective and incomplete certificate inventory. Scanning also cannot determine which TLS version the client-server pair is using or which algorithms, especially when considering the possibility of fallbacks when supporting legacy endpoints. Scanning is a snapshot and can't see itinerant connections in unusual places, such as new server deployments or temporal port openings. The actionable data HCI provides will enable you to reduce your dwell time and improve your MTTR by giving you an audit trail to detect and respond to potential security events quickly - as well as proactively seek out and remediate these issues before they occur.
