Help Hand

Our mission is to reduce domestic violence through AI technology, data, advocacy, & collaborative action. New Zealand has the highest reported rates of family violence in the developed world, with 1 in 3 women estimated to experience domestic or sexual abuse in their lifetime. To date, Help@Hand has protected nearly 700 individual high-risk survivors and an estimated 1,400 children. We have also safeguarded over 300 frontline social workers, enabling them to support families without compromising their own safety. Our proven technology and support platform watches over families at risk, ensuring that they are safe, and help is at hand wherever they may be. In collaboration with our partner organisations, we ensure survivors have access to safe accommodation, on-going support, and long-term pathways to healing so they can start to rebuild their lives. Our next phase is to scale this proven prevention technology nationwide and lead a positive, hope-centred media campaign to raise awareness and drive change. Together, we can make Aotearoa the safest place in the world to raise a family.
