Hemideina

Hemideina is a medical device start-up, developing a new device to treat moderate-to-profound deafness. Our device is a sound processor/transmitter that sits in the ear canal, and an implant, implanted above the ear canal, connected to an electrode that stimulates the auditory nerves of the cochlea. Our device in miniature, discreet and takes advantage of the ear's natural contours for directionality, hearing-in-noise and filtering out background noise.
