The Hemp Economic Development Group (HEDG) exists as the nexus point for municipalities, regions, and other economic development organizations to the hemp industry. Our mission is to identify and bring together businesses, organizations, and municipalities to forge sustainable, economically beneficial opportunities with our partners. We engage regional and local stakeholders to maximize economic benefit(s) and forge sustainable opportunities that create and enhance long-term prosperity based on the industrial hemp economy. HEDG employs cooperative planning and shared resources that include community and regional engagement to optimize local integration of related education and employment growth opportunities. The HEDG founders, board members, advisors, and industry partners have decades of experience with industrial hemp in North America and abroad.
