HempStone LLC is a leading construction services and building materials supply company focused on natural and healthy building materials including hemp, lime and hempcrete. HempStone works with architects, builders, engineers, students, developers, farmers and building and land owners to build energy efficient, non-toxic, and carbon absorbing environments. We are working with all stakeholders including family farms to build an industry that values people and planet more than purely profit. HempStone offers construction services, consulting, educational hands-on workshops on natural building, and can provide natural building supplies. We are aggressively pursuing collaborative opportunities to heal our world by facilitating deep carbon retrofits (DER's) of our existing building stock using natural and carbon sequestering materials and technology. We are working with Universities to provide materials research and testing and are researching the creation of advanced bio-composite construction materials and techniques. We are schooled and grounded in building science and bring a exacting and disciplined rigor to making sure all building technologies are properly vetted and appropriate for implementation.
