Company: Fibonacci, LLC, better known as HempWood®, was founded by Greg Wilson. By using the Fibonacci sequence, Wilson was able to develop the algorithm necessary for making industrial hemp into a wood alternative. With over 20 years in the building materials and flooring industry, Wilson applies those experiences to HempWood® today. Product: HempWood® is a face grade interior hardwood. Through compression and adhesion, HempWood® is made from full length fiber hemp stalks and soy-based glue. HempWood® is first pressed into blocks. From the blocks, HempWood® is cut into lumber, flooring, panels, woodturning blanks, picture frames, and table & cabinet kits! HempWood® is eco-friendly, sustainable, harder than hickory, American-made and has no added formaldehyde.
