Our Origins go back to 1948, when Hemsons International (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated as Hemas Drugs (Pvt) Ltd as part of the illustrious Hemas Group of Companies. We embarked on our successful career in the Laboratories & Pharmaceuticals industry by introducing British Drug House (BDH) chemicals to Sri Lanka and trading in laboratory chemicals and equipment of world renowned quality. In Hemsons International (Pvt) Ltd was created as a strategic move to concentrate on and specialize in the Laboratory and Communication sectors. Today, we represent over 60 companies from Europe, UK,USA, China and India and have presence in both the Sri Lankan and Maldivian markets. Our range of products includes organic and inorganic chemicals, general laboratory equipment, plastic and glass consumables and filter papers. The desire to innovate and offer our customers exceptional service has kept us at the top of our game. We understand the need for reliability in the high functioning laboratory services industry and have pushed to maintain the highest industry standards by gaining accreditations such as the ISO 9001:2015 certification we recently achieved.
