In 1979 Hendriks Bloemen established her first flower shop in a suburb of Maastricht, focused on the rapid sale of fresh flowers and plants. Because of its direct lines with growers and auctions, coupled with a low cost pattern, could be worked at very competitive prices. Were we in the early years almost exclusively focused on trade in raw flowers and plants, we now offer a much more complete package, and that the sale of traditional bouquets (both classic and modern) an important activity. From 1986 (when we already had 5 stores and our central warehouse was located in Maastricht), we are also engage in wholesale: by delivering to fellow florists and supermarkets. Our desire to take the best price to realize led us in '98 to manufacturers in Southeast Asia. The direct import to hit huge, since our prices are well below the level of most providers. Hendriks Bloemen Geleen BV and Hendriks Deco now provides employment to over 120 enthusiastic - mostly young - people, mostly part-time work, we operate 16 accessible florists.
